After thinking about it for years I finally made an illustrated zine! Well zines are not supposed to be big or complicated, so this really didn’t have to take that long, but in this case the zine was more of a “test drive” for what it might be like to write and illustrate a book. So I was a bit more intimidated going in and kept procrastinating on it. It was never the kind of project to deserve time in my calendar until I decided to join the Cph Zine Fest.

When an event was announced last September I rushed to apply even though I had nothing to show, because I knew that the pressure of having to show up for the event will give me the motivational boost I needed to complete this project. And it worked! Much went wrong in the process of making the zine, which was really frustrating at the time, but in hindsight it made it all more exciting!
