A little bit about me

I’m a Bulgarian illustrator, designer and maker, currently drawing from Copenhagen, Denmark. I started as a graphic designer in 2010 and in 2015 I began to shift my focus towards illustration where my main strength lies.

I love working on products that are practical and bring joy, connection and fun, which is why I welcome projects that center around entertainment, education and wellbeing.

Since 2019 I’m also running an online boutique for illustrated greeting cards and paper goods.

My style and tools

My work is rooted in love for simplicity, storytelling and a touch of humour! I am a keen observer of the ordinary and have a deep appreciation for atmosphere and emotion and a desire to create a genuine connection. My work is meant to be understood at a glance, but holds a little something upon return as well.

I tend to keep to digital media as I believe it gives a great flexibility and versatility to the final product. My specialty is vector graphics, which always ensures crisp lines and top quality in any size and resolution.

What I offer

13 Licensing

Licensing

You can choose to licence an existing illustration from my library. I can provide you with suitable examples once I learn more about your needs. In this case you pay a fee to “rent” the image. This option is a quick, easy and an inexpensive solution.

14 Custom art

Custom illustration

I will create a custom illustration tailored to your exact needs and specifications. This option takes some time (please allow a week or two at minimum in your schedule), it requires a lot of communication and is typically the most expensive solution. However it also offers you the highest degree of creative control and input.

15 Hybrid

Hybrid solution

This option provides the best of both worlds. If any of my pre-made work is suitable for your project, but it’s not a perfect fit, we can use it as a starting point and tweak it to bring it closer to your vision. In terms of time needed and cost it sits in between the other two.

21 - Organic human art

I believe that my clients deserve thoughtful and carefully crafted work, made by a human. This is why I never use image generators (generative AI) at any stage of my process. That way I can also ensure that no copyright infringement or other ethical or environmental issues arise from the work.

Final touches

Send an email with a short introduction of yourself or your organisation, a description of the project that you have in mind, your goal and how do you plan to use the work, your budget and deadline.

This doesn’t have to be perfectly precise, a range or general outline would work just fine.

Together we’ll come up with a brief, clearing up all the details. We might have to arrange a meeting or a call for this. I will write a proposal and if we are both happy with the parameters of the assignment we can proceed to the fun part!

Based on the information provided and my own research into the topic, I will come up with ideas and potential solutions, which I’ll present to you in the form of sketches. We’ll discuss, tweak as needed and decide on a direction.

I will further develop the agreed upon concept into a finished and ready to use piece.

We’ll keep active communication to ensure everything is shaping up as expected.

I’ll present to you the final work and you’ll receive the finished files.
